Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer was born in August 1981. She's best known for the roles she appeared in the film Cowboys & Aliens. The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful, The Great and Powerful, Is Where I Leave You. Her current role is Amantha in Rectify which is a Sundance Channel show that is a drama. Abigail Leigh Spencer works as an actress on film and television. Her fame was boosted by roles she played in drama series Rectify. Gulf Breeze Florida native made her acting debut in All My Children. The soap drama All My Children earned her an award from soap Opera Digest for Best Female Newcomer. Following that she mostly played guest characters on a variety of television shows. For instance, in the TV show Hawthorne the actress was widely acknowledged for her character of Dr. Erin Jameson. Her dazzling looks, combined with her uncanny acting talent led to a gradual growth of a fanbase. Her film debut came at 20 and was acting in the film Campfire Stones. The other films she's appeared in are Jekyll This Means War and Chasing Mavericks. The part she played as a character in Beautiful Now earned her a nomination at the Madrid International Film Festival Award. Most recently, Spencer played Lucy Preston (history professor) in Timeless. Spencer has been nominated as a Teen Choice Award nominee for Spencer's role in Timeless. Timeless has earned the praise of critics.
